Chelsea FC Crowned English Premier League Champions

Chelsea Football Club have been crowned English Premier League Champions after beating West Brom Albion 1-0 under new coach Antonio Conte.
After cruising to the Premier League trophy by eight points in 2015, the London club finished in 10th place the following year in the worst title defense in league history.
On Friday, Chelsea regained the title under new coach Antonio Conte, with two matches to spare, by winning at West Bromwich Albion.

The title is Chelsea’s sixth all-time and fifth in the Premier League era and their final two games of the season, home encounters against Watford and Sunderland, will be a procession and see the Blues given a guard of honor onto the pitch.
On the final day of the PL season, May 21, they will lift the trophy at Stamford Bridge in front of their own fans.
Chelsea now have 87 points with two games to go, meaning they can get a total of 93 if they win their two remaining games. That’s two points behind the record points tally for a PL champ, set by Chelsea in 2005.
