In Lagos State :Lightning Strikes Man Dead

The corpse of a to come identified man, who was allegedly "struck to death by lightning", has been only at the Berger place of Lagos.

The corpse was lonely at the Berger lay-by, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

According to eyewitnesses, the man was struck by lightning during a heavy rainfall on the subject of Saturday.

A man, who identified himself deserted as Akeem, told The Punch that the incident happened taking into consideration the man was aggravating to livid the expressway.

He said, The man was struck by lightning very very just about Saturday. When the rain was falling, there was a lightning which was followed by a thunder clap. Later, I heard some people shouting. I went there to see what happened; and this man was lying there. He was dead.

Another eyewitness, Olamide Niyi, said he was not certain of what led to the mans death, but the residents of the area had alerted the police.

Lagos Police PRO, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, said he had drawn the attention of the Divisional Police Officer, Isheri Police Division, to the corpse.

The police will sever the corpse and psychotherapy will be carried out, he attachment.
