Evans files another lawsuit against IGP, demanding N300m in damages

The Notorious kidnapper kingpin, Evans, has filed jarring combat contrary to the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, challenging his continuous detention back his arrest on the order of June 10th.The deed was filed through his recommendation at the Federal High Court, Lagos.

He is demanding N300 million in damages for his continuous detention without events and swine subjected to media trials.

Joined as respondents in his new suit are the Nigeria Police Force, the Commissioner of Police Lagos State and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos State Police Command.

In the spacious dispute marked FHC/L/CS/1012/ 2017, Evans is asking the court to regard as swine that his continued detention past June 10th without arraignment, violates his fundamental rights as guaranteed under the 1999 Constitution.

Evans is after that asking the court to believe to be that his parade previously the media at the Lagos disclose police command in Ikeja on the subject of the order of June 11th by the police was unconstitutional in the past the police had no court order to that effect.

The notorious kidnapper is asking the court to order the police to arraign him back a court or set him release. He is as well as asking the court to order the respondents to jointly and individually, pay him the sum of N300 million as exemplary damages for illegal detention and alleged be violent towards caused by the alleged media proceedings.

Evan is in addition to seeking an order of everlasting injunction, restraining the respondents from added arresting, detaining, harassing, investigating or inviting him on the subject of the facts of his engagement.

The court is yet to assign a maintenance to the accomplishment nor repair a date for hearing of his new fighting.
